We all know its a remake of 1973's hit film Zanjeer. But let us not compare and discuss only about this film.

Direction, Dialogues and Screenplay have been good and clear, but very dull and slow!
Story has got no excitement. RCT and PC get together all of a sudden, bcoz they have got no other options. Movie was just like old times!! Old fashioned revenge!!
Cast performances were fine. Of course, lead roles could have been done by anyone. But the supporting cast were exceptional. PC was sweet and RCT looked matured and apt for B'wood !! Music and Choreography were like... they are present, only bcoz they should be. Except for PC's title song... no other song has got good moves. Didnt expect this from someone like RCT !! Cinematography and Editing were neat. Suited the film. Comedy is another major part, which will pull the leg of this movie ! We know that B'wood has got no comedians, and RCT couldn't showcase his comic sense too. So, that is what will become the major drawback for this slow paced movie.

The new 'Zanjeer' isn't just a bad film, it's a shameless exercise in laziness.

This remake is wrong on so many levels that I don’t know where to begin. This isn’t a film. It’s sacrilege.

The new Zanjeer borrows from the original, but it is more of an updated avatar of that film. On the whole, Zanjeer is a triumph for Ram Charan, who gets abundant opportunity to exhibit his talent and scores exceedingly well.
